Shock Absorber Bearing Riser with AMCO’s Protect-O-Shield Bearings

AMCO’s Protect-O-Shield Bearing features an exclusive protective shield to protect its triple seals and is guaranteed for two full years. Our bearing eliminates blown seals and prevents wrap damage.

Our Shock Absorber Bearing Riser allows the gang on the harrow to move upward and back to relieve shock when the disc blades encounter an obstacle in the ground.

AMCO’s Shock Absorber Bearing Riser and Protect-O-Shield Bearings will not move rocks and uproot stumps, but they will help prevent harrow damage.

To properly maintain your Protect-O-Shield Bearings, please follow these lubrication steps:

1. The bearings should be re-lubricated with appropriate conforming grease on a daily basis after each use.
2. During lubrication, the bearing should purge new grease and then be rotated to ensure complete fill of the cavity.
3. The bearings should be re-lubricated with appropriate conforming grease at the end of the season.
